P7B In Focus - Footcare

This module will look at a routine you could recommend for maintaining healthy feet, in addition to footcare issues, such as verrucas and athlete's foot. It will also highlight the importance of providing appropriate advice to customers with diabetes, as they may be at an increased risk of developing foot problems. This module will help you advise on:

• A good footcare routine
• The treatment options available for athlete's foot, fungal nail infections and verrucas
• Why customers who have diabetes should take extra care of their feet.
